Petroleum Import and Wholesale Supply
GCITI is approved by the Government of Guyana to import petroleum products, and supplies the local market with diesel, gasoline and heavy fuel oil at the quality and standards the government sets. Product is imported and delivered on the company's own tanker tonnage, at competitive prices, for distributors and industrial buyers in Guyana.

Safety and documentation
Liquid cargo is carried under IMO requirements. Candy Conqueror, the fleet's tanker, is double-hulled and classed with IRS, and carries a Q88 on file for charterers and receivers who require one.
Carrying our own product
The same fleet that charters to third parties carries GCITI's imported product. Candy Conqueror runs 715,000 gallons across 83 metres with a double hull and a call sign of 8R-TZ — the vessel behind the supply, not a chartered stranger.

Questions buyers ask
Which petroleum products does GCITI supply?
Diesel, gasoline and heavy fuel oil, imported into Guyana and supplied wholesale.
Is GCITI licensed to import petroleum?
GCITI is approved by the Government of Guyana to import petroleum products.
What quality standard is the product supplied to?
The quality and standards set by the Government of Guyana.
How is the product delivered?
On GCITI's own tanker tonnage. Candy Conqueror is double-hulled, classed with IRS and carries 715,000 gallons.
Can I get a price list?
No, and any supplier publishing one for fuel is not quoting you a real price. Petroleum pricing moves with the market. Send the product, the volume and the delivery point and we will quote against them.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the product and your discharge facility. Tell us both and we will tell you what is workable.
Do you supply outside Guyana?
The import approval is a Government of Guyana approval and the wholesale supply is into the Guyanese market. For moving product elsewhere, that is a transportation or charter enquiry.
